Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on Sunday, the 18/12/2011, an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in Indian Meteorological Department, a Group ‗B‘ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post :

• Scientific Assistant :  465 posts (UR-230, OBC-128, SC-70, ST-37) (PH-10), 
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 - 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, 
• Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University or equivalent., Age : 28 years.
